Industrial Glam Wedding at Gare du Neuss IN Germany

Transforming an industrial space into an elegant wedding venue is an exciting challenge that calls for intuition in design and meticulous planning. The historic freight station at Gare du Neuss provided a raw, unconventional backdrop that allowed us to create a truly one-of-a-kind celebration. From scratch, we curated each element to balance the venue’s rugged charm with touches of glam, crafting an unforgettable setting that redefines what a wedding space can be.

The Gare du Neuss, tucked behind the main train station, is a hub of urban energy – hosting everything from flea markets to eclectic events. The locals have truly made the most of this promising spot, with the Gare du Neuss serving as one of the city’s ultimate vintage cafĂ© spot and the grand halls of the former freight station now playing host to DJ nights and fashion exhibitions. It’s a captivating blend that simply begs to be celebrated.

Crafting a truly special concept at a location I knew intimately well. Well enough, to know that it has an own a very romantic chapel, granting this an ideal spot for a civil ceremony. And let me tell you, it was special.

Thanks to Anna, we had a wedding day that we couldn’t have wished for more beautiful. Anna delivers the all-round, worry-free package and brings along a team of professional service providers. From the first contact, to the location search, to the design and organization, Anna convinced us with her structured, honest and emphatic manner. Anna has the gift of empathizing very well with the bride and groom’s wishes and ideas and implementing them down to the smallest detail with a pinch of extravagance and sophistication. When we had to postpone our celebration at short notice, Anna made quick work of arranging a new date.
Thank you, Anna, for accompanying us on this journey.

All love,

Martina and Dominic

The intention was to allow for the building’s strong identity to show off, in tune with the identity of the event. Aristocratic, historic, industrial, art, all blending in harmony and creating a very unique rendition of the beloved Gare du Neuss, just for Martina and Dominik.

The bride’s classic white gown, adorned with a delicate floral accent, complemented her natural makeup and simple bouquet of calla lilies. The groom’s earthy beige ensemble echoed the couple’s refined yet effortless style.

As guests gathered in the halls, where the past and present collided, the chapel was giving art nouveau vibes, decorated in a manner consistent with the reception area – with a subtly exotic twist. Middle Eastern-inspired carpets lined the aisle, leading up to fresh and dried floral arrangements.

The transition from chapel to reception was as smooth as the ceremony itself. Guests were greeted by a live musician as they entered the open space – the perfect spot for the newlyweds’ first dance, while their lovely guests made a circle around them, applauding and admiring the magical moment.

Two long wooden imperial tables, aglow with candlelight, awaited, punctuated by the statement pieces of the evening: cascading disco balls paired with exotic foliage. After toasting the couple, the guests settled in for a dinner that was as mesmerizing as the day itself. It was a celebration that the old freight station could not have imagined hosting in the old days.

If you’re looking for wedding venues close to Düsseldorf, while your heart longs for something unique, fabulous, as well as urban industrial, Gare Du Neuss is one of the best options I would propose, for a day that’s full of soul and moments to remember.
