Under the watchful gaze of mythological statues, this pre-wedding party in Sorrento was poised to do justice to the legendary existence of this magnificent location in Sorrento, and we are going to tell you all about it.
Awakening the senses through a rich palette of colors, sounds, and textures, Villa Zagara set the stage for a “not your typical” pre-wedding celebration. The dazzling collection of pathways, arched by tree branches and adorned by the sun’s rays, blending with a unique take on love, made this celebration extra special.
Everything was meticulously planned down to the last detail by us, for every stage of the experience, tailored to the majestic Villa Zagara and our lovely couple.
Guests began to arrive, eager to experience the couple’s unique take on the pre-wedding festivities. Immediately immersed in an Italian pandemonium of pasta, Spritz, and amore – all within an opulent, yet mystical setting. Deep red met black, with gold as a guest star, bringing the Versace element into the mix. This celebration had guests mesmerised in the couple’s sultry universe, a fiery expression of romance.
The rich character of the surroundings gracefully collided with a language of elegance, creating a wildly luxurious ambiance. The vision was perfectly placed upon the natural scenery Villa Zagara offers, between lush gardens and a backdrop of greenery and tall trees, setting a generous canvas for the scarlet palette of the day.
At the entrance, right after the majestic stairwell leading down to the garden, a grand heart was conquered by a number of arrows– one for each guest, bearing their name. Love may hurt, but the result was refreshing, just like the welcome drinks. This picturesque post was the perfect spot for guests to greet one another, smile, and share their joy for the couple.
The florals had to be as majestic and extravagant as the setting. Lush, opulent arrangements with roses, and deep-hued blooms contributed to the equally romantic and mysterious vibe. As the deep blue of the evening sky embraced the view of Mount Vesuvius, the gardens and quaint alleys embraced the dynamic outcome of this celebration.
Black tablecloths, gold and black art de la table, and deep red roses found their match in the red candles, creating a vibe that oozed passion, romance, and exquisite taste. Guests were dressed in high fashion couture, making the scene feel like a Versace runway afterparty.
However, let’s not forget this took place in Italy. Refined culinary experience awaited the guests, with live cooking stations delivering eye-rolling results of pleasure in all forms of cucina italiana. Antipasti platters, fresh pasta dishes, seafood, and rich desserts made for the complete experience of culinary simplicity and excellence that this culture has to offer.
To set the tone for the evening, the couple’s cinematic adventure was screened for the guests. Filmed at the nearby Villa Astor, we designed and planned this pre-wedding shoot, for it to have a distinct James Bond-esque vibe, showcasing the yacht drive, the strolls through the gardens, and the magnificent stairways.
